Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So today joined a market cleaning activity in Kowloon City as part of the Clean Hong Kong campaign.
Mr So, Hung Hom Area Committee members and district personalities cleaned Hung Hom Market’s communal facilities and distributed cleaning packs to vendors and shoppers to encourage them to keep the markets and community clean at all times.
Speaking at the event, Mr So said the tripartite partnership between officials, business sectors and the public is the key to success of keeping Hong Kong clean.
He also encouraged market vendors and citizens to work together to build a clean community.
