Chief Executive CY Leung today congratulated the winners of the 2016 Legislative Council General Election.
Mr Leung said, with the goals of serving the community, safeguarding the public's well-being and promoting Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability, the Government will enhance communication and co-operation with the new council.
The Government will facilitate further exchanges between LegCo members and the Central Government as well as provinces and municipalities, he said.
He looks forward to closer collaboration with LegCo members in the future to build a better Hong Kong.
He thanked outgoing LegCo members for their contributions.
