Electoral Affairs Commission Chairman Justice Barnabas Fung visited the ballot paper sorting station at Kowloon Park Sports Centre this afternoon.
The geographical constituency ballot boxes of the dedicated polling stations set up in penal institutions will be delivered to the sorting station for opening after the close of the poll.
The ballot papers will be sorted by geographical constituencies before being delivered to the main counting stations of the respective geographical constituencies for counting.
Speaking to reporters after the visit, Justice Fung said the election results are expected to be released about lunchtime tomorrow.
