The Centre for Health Protection has announced that from noon yesterday to noon today, two new severe adult influenza cases were recorded, including one death.
An additional death was recorded among the previously reported cases.
It brings the total number of severe adult cases to 341, including 245 deaths. Among them, 329 were A (H3N2), eight were B and four were A pending subtype.
The centre urged people to stay vigilant, get vaccinated early, and maintain good personal and environmental hygiene.
