Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Edward Yau conducted a home visit in North District today under the Celebrations for All project.
At Cheung Lung Wai Estate in Sheung Shui, Mr Yau met North District Council members to discuss telecommunications, transportation and local economic issues.
He then visited elderly residents and needy families, offering them gift packs to share the joy of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's 20th anniversary.
He also visited some local shops at Shek Wu Hui and chatted with their owners.
Mr Yau said he and other Principal Officials will continue to make district visits to communicate with the public and listen to their opinions.
