Financial Secretary John Tsang has concluded his visit to Washington, DC, which was aimed at forging closer ties with US business sectors and officials, and promoting trade between the two places.
He met with US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Stefan Selig and both sides said they looked forward to strengthening economic and investment ties.
After the meeting, Mr Tsang toured National Harbour, a multi-use waterfront development.
He will attend the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group annual meetings in Peru, as a member of the Chinese delegation tomorrow.
