Financial Secretary John Tsang met government and business officials in Riyadh on the last day of his Saudi Arabian duty visit today.
He met Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority Deputy Governor Adnan Al-Sharqi and was briefed on the kingdom’s latest investment climate.
Both sides agreed to explore opportunities to boost co-operation in specific sectors.
Mr Tsang then met Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of the ArRiyadh Development Authority.
Mr Tsang said the Hong Kong and Saudi Arabian economies complement each other very well, and both sides agreed to enhance economic co-operation.
Mr Tsang will continue his Middle East trade promotion in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.
