Financial Secretary John Tsang is leading a business delegation to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Addressing reporters at the airport this morning, Mr Tsang said the group will visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, and meet officials in the three cities.
He added that the trip is aimed at promoting Hong Kong and exploring emerging business opportunities in the Middle East market.
The delegation includes representatives from the financial sector including bankers, and bonds and funds experts.
