Financial Secretary John Tsang will lead a business delegation to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates from December 7 to 11.
They will explore emerging business opportunities in the Middle East market and showcase Hong Kong's Islamic finance platform to Islamic economies.
Mr Tsang will sign a tax agreement, attend trade promotional activities, and call on senior government officials and leaders in the business and financial sectors.
Secretary for Development Paul Chan and Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan will act as Financial Secretary during Mr Tsang's absence.
