Police are investigating a three-car traffic accident in Tai Po early today in which a 39-year-old taxi driver was killed and two other men injured.

Shortly before 4.30am a light truck travelling along Tolo Highway towards the New Territories reportedly crashed head-on with a taxi near Hong Lok Yuen. A car following the truck also crashed into the rear of it.

The 26-year-old truck driver, his 21-year-old passenger and the taxi driver were taken to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where the latter was certified dead.
