One dead, six injured in school bus crash

A school bus driver died and six boys were injured after the vehicle hit a lamppost near Kwun Tong today.

 

The bus was travelling westbound on O King Road when the accident happened just before noon.

 

The 62-year-old driver and six students were sent to United Christian Hospital for treatment.

 

The man was later certified dead. Two boys were treated and discharged while the remaining four, aged six to 11, were in stable condition.

 

Police are investigating the accident, and witnesses are urged to contact the investigators on 2305 7582.
