11 beaches have good water quality
*
Environmental Protection Department

Water quality at 11 beaches has been rated good by the Environmental Protection Department, while three have been graded as fair. Click here for more details.

The bathing season for other beaches in the New Territories will begin on April 1. Details of their latest gradings are here.

Anglers', Approach and Ting Kau beaches remain closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.

Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido beaches will also continue to be closed when the bathing season begins in the New Territories next month.

More information can be obtained from the department's homepage or the beach hotline at 2511 6666.
