Water quality 'good' at 23 beaches

*

Beach water quality at 25 locations has been rated 'good' for this weekend by the Environmental Protection Department, with seven 'fair' and one 'poor'. Click here for details.

Under the grading system, beaches are classified into four grades according to the level of e.coli in the water.

Seven gazetted beaches - Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido - are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.

People are advised not to swim at these closed beaches.
