Seven illegal workers have been jailed for up to 22 months.
Police and other officers arrested two Indonesian men, aged 30 and 41, who were cleaning a vehicle at a car wash in Yuen Long in May.
Officers also arrested a Fijian man, two Indian men and two Pakistani men, aged 23 to 52, who were setting up stalls in Mong Kok on July 12.
They were all charged for taking up employment without the authority of the Director of Immigration after landing in Hong Kong unlawfully and remaining in Hong Kong, or while being a person in respect of whom a removal order or deportation order was in force.
They were sentenced in Sha Tin Magistracy on July 15.
