Immigration officers have arrested 11 Mainlanders in an anti-illegal employment operation in Sheung Shui.
The four men and seven women, aged 31 to 63, were arrested yesterday for breaching their stay conditions by being involved in parallel goods trading.
The goods included milk powder, nappies, wine, facial products, food products, and electronic watches.
A total of 1,311 Mainlanders and 14 Hong Kong residents have been arrested for parallel goods trading since 2012. Of these, 201 Mainlanders have been prosecuted, and 192 of them have been jailed.
