41 arrested for illegal work offences

Twenty-seven illegal workers and 14 employers have been arrested in a crackdown on work offences since May 14.
 
Immigration officers raided 121 locations in various districts, including recycling depots, restaurants, premises under renovation, retail stores, foot reflexology centres and refuse collection points.
 
Fifteen men and 12 women, aged 25 to 51, were arrested for working illegally. 
 
Eight men and six women, aged 22 to 52, were arrested for employing them.
