Manila talks narrow differences

Security Bureau officials and representatives of the Manila hostage tragedy victims' families today met Manila representative Bernardito Ang.
The three sides later issued a joint statement, saying further discussions are necessary, however, all parties agreed that the talks were helpful in narrowing their differences, and they agreed to keep dialogue open.
They exchanged opinions and considered possible options to how the victims' demands can be met.
To avoid speculation and not to add unnecessary pressure to the victims and their families, the parties reaffirmed the need, and have agreed, to not disclose details of the discussions at this stage.
