Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung will lead a delegation to Malaysia tomorrow to promote Hong Kong’s logistic services and visit the country's logistic facilities.
Members of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and the Hong Kong Port Development Council are part of the delegation, which will meet with the Ministry of International Trade & Industry.
They will visit Kuala Lumpur International Airport's cargo centre, and the port and logistics facilities at Westports and Port Klang Free Zone.
They will also attend a seminar co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Singapore, in which Prof Cheung give a keynote speech.
He will return to Hong Kong December 5. During his absence, Under Secretary for Transport & Housing Yau Shing-mu will be Acting Secretary for Transport & Housing.
