The Centre for Health Protection has learned of another avian influenza A (H5N1) case in Yunnan, involving a 17-year-old man who is in a critical condition.
The man lives in Kunming and was admitted to hospital on March 20.
The centre reminded people not to visit live poultry markets and farms, and to avoid contact with poultry, birds or their droppings.
