The Community Care Fund will start accepting new applications from low-income, three-person households for a one-off $11,000 subsidy from tomorrow.
The programme will relieve financial pressure on low-income households not living in public housing and not receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance.
Applicants should be living in rented private housing, hostel bedspace or temporary housing, and should not own any property in Hong Kong. To be eligible, a three-person household’s monthly income and rent should be below $19,820 and $9,910.
