The Department of Health is monitoring 16 additional cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The 15 Saudi cases involved patients aged 26 to 90. Two men, aged 57 and 70, and another previously confirmed patient, had died.
The UAE patient, a man aged 45, has died.
This brings the latest global number of confirmed cases of the disease to 228, including 92 deaths.
