The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring eight new human H7N9 cases on the Mainland, including two in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and one each in Guangdong, Guangxi, Beijing and Hunan.
The cases involve six men and two women, aged 5 to 73.
This brings the total of confirmed cases of the disease on the Mainland to 310.
