Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan has concluded his visit to Europe, after a five-day trip to promote Hong Kong's financial strengths.
On the last day of his visit to London, he attended a breakfast roundtable hosted by Thomson Reuters where he discussed Hong Kong's Renminbi business with leading practitioners in the financial and banking sectors.
He also met London Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer Xavier Rolet, TheCityUK Board of Directors Chairman Sir Gerry Grimstone, Lord Mayor of London Alan Yarrow, and Bank of England Deputy Governor Sir Jon Cunliffe.
Prof Chan also met official regulators and market practitioners, in addition to attending a luncheon by the Hong Kong Association and a reception with the Hong Kong community.
