The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at 24 beaches 'good' and 14 'fair' for this weekend.
Golden Beach and Hoi Mei Wan Beach received a better grading than last week, moving from 'fair' to 'good'.
Approach Beach and Castle Peak Beach were upgraded from 'poor' to 'fair'.
Lower Cheung Sha Beach was downgraded from 'good' to 'fair'.
The department advised the public not to swim at beaches for several days following a typhoon or heavy rainfall.
