Chief Executive CY Leung says he has relayed the Hong Kong people's concern about bookshop shareholder Lee Bo's disappearance to the relevant Mainland authorities and has sought their help with the investigation.
He told reporters today that the investigation is continuing even though Mr Lee's wife has withdrawn her police report, which shows that the Government attaches great importance to the case.
Mr Leung noted that it has taken time for Mainland authorities to respond to similar cases in the past and urged people with information to come forward and help with the Police probe.
