Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam will pay a four-day visit to Beijing and Tianjin on July 21.
He will meet with relevant ministries and departments on issues relating to Hong Kong's efforts to complement the country's National 13th Five-Year Plan and the "One Belt, One Road" initiatives.
In Beijing, Mr Tam will visit the National Development & Reform Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the State Council's Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office.
In Tianjin, he will visit the Tianjin free trade zone and meet Tianjin officials and Hong Kong people living there.
He will return to Hong Kong on July 24.
Under Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Lau Kong-wah will be Acting Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs during Mr Tam's absence.
