Wounding case reclassified murder

Police have reclassified a Tseung Kwan O wounding case as murder after the victim died today.

 

Police received a report about 4pm yesterday that two men, aged 56 and 61, were assaulted by a 44-year-old man after a dispute near Ming Chau House, Kin Ming Estate.

 

Police arrested the culprit. The 56-year-old sustained serious head wounds and was sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He died at 11.22am today. The 61-year-old was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital.

 

Investigations are continuing.
