Sichuan quake victims visit inmates
Sharing session: Sichuan quake victims share their experiences with Lai King Correctional Institution inmates.
*

Four girls who survived the 2008 Sichuan earthquake visited Lai King Correctional Institution today to tell inmates how they survived such adversity.

Yang Liu, Chen Juan, Qing Jingwen and Wang Li are on a six-day visit to thank donors from Hong Kong and Macau for their generous contribution to helping Sichuan reconstruct, and to promote the value of life.

Correctional Services Department staff raised $1.5 million for the post-earthquake relief work in the province. About 1,200 inmates also donated $250,000.
