Motorcyclist dies in Tsing Yi crash

A 23-year-old motorcyclist died after his machine collided with three cars on Tsing Kwai Highway, Tsing Yi, this morning.

 

The four vehicles were travelling in sequence towards Kowloon about 7.25am when the first two cars slowed down near Princess Margaret Hospital due to traffic conditions ahead. The third car and the motorcycle crashed into the back of them.

 

The rider suffered serious chest injuries and was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 8am.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 3661 1300 or 3661 1346.
