*
Customs & Excise Department

Customs officers have arrested a 50-year-old drug distributor active in New Territories North and seized about 9kg of ketamine worth about $1 million.

The man, acting suspiciously, was stopped for a search at Ching Hiu Road in Fanling yesterday evening. About 2.3kg of ketamine was found in his bag, while another 6.7kg of ketamine was found in a search of his home.

He will be charged with drug trafficking, and will appear at Fanling Magistracy tomorrow.
