At about 10.14am that day, a 47-year-old man was driving a coach southbound on Chatham Road South. After passing the junction with Cameron Road, the coach reportedly hit the man as he was crossing the road.

He was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 4.15pm the same day.

Anyone who saw the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.
