The draft Tai Mong Tsai and Tsam Chuk Wan Outline Zoning Plan has been amended to rezone an area at Pak Tam from "Green Belt" to "Government, Institution or Community (1)".

The Town Planning Board said today amendments have also been made to the Notes of the Plan. They include incorporation of the Notes for the "Government, Institution or Community (1)" zone; revision to the definition of "existing building" in the covering Notes; and refinement to the Remarks of the Notes for the "Green Belt", "Conservation Area", "Coastal Protection Area" and "Coastal Protection Area (1)" zones to clearly reflect the intended control on the filling of land and ponds, and excavation of land.

Anyone can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Town Planning Board Secretary by July 4.
