Further study needed on Tai Long Sai Wan
*

The Town Planning Board has published the Draft Tai Long Sai Wan Development Permission Area Plan. The area is designated "unspecified use", pending detailed analysis and studies to establish the appropriate land uses in the course of preparing an outline-zoning plan.

The area, covering 16.55 hectares, is located on the eastern coast of Sai Kung peninsula. It comprises two parts, the northern and southern parcels, which are both completely enclosed by Sai Kung East Country Park.

The board said the general planning intention is to protect its high landscape value which complements the overall naturalness and the landscape beauty of the surrounding country park.
