20 sick with adenovirus infection

Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating an outbreak of respiratory tract infection affecting 19 students and a staff member of a Causeway Bay kindergarten.

 

Fourteen males and six females have come down with fever, cough, runny nose and sore throat since July 21.

 

Six were hospitalised and discharged.

 

Four children tested positive for adenovirus.
