Tuen Mun restaurant shut down
*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has closed a Tuen Mun restaurant two weeks for repeated violations of the Food Business Regulation.

The restaurant at Shop No 11, ground floor, Hong Tak Gardens on Shek Pai Tau Road, was ordered to suspend business until October 23.

The shop has four previous convictions, three of them for illegal extension of food business at the premises and one for poor hygiene. It has been fined $8,000 in total and been ordered to suspend business for 21 days so far.

Eatery licensees must comply strictly with the Food Business Regulation, otherwise their licences can be suspended or cancelled.
