Seaside spectacular: The Mid-autumn Festival will be truly special and colourful on September 11 and 12 when additional pyrotechnics will be featured in the nightly Strato-Fantasia performances in Wan Chai.

The Mid-autumn Festival will be truly special and colourful on September 11 and 12 when additional pyrotechnics will be featured in the nightly Strato-Fantasia performances in Wan Chai.

The shows tie in with the spectacular Mid-autumn Lantern Celebration staged by the Tourism Board.

They will bring further excitement to visitors and residents with the dazzling combination of video, laser lights and water effects, all synchronised to music.

On September 15, the Strato-Fantasia finale will also feature the premiere of a TV commercial starring tourism ambassador Jackie Chan.

The commercial is part of the board's new global advertising campaign Hong Kong - Live it. Love it!

Strato-Fantasia is the first mega-event of the board's Global Tourism Revival Campaign. Since its launch on August 17, the multimedia sound and light show has received rave reviews and become a must-see attraction for visitors and local residents. 

There will be two performances each night at 7.30pm and 8.30pm. The best viewing location is near Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.
