Internet support proposals wanted
*

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer is inviting non-profit-making organisations to submit proposals for implementing the Internet Learning Support Programme.

The five-year scheme will help low-income families acquire computers and Internet access, and it will provide training and technical support to the students and their parents.

The programme will be managed by a non-profit-making organisation, which will work closely with community organisations, educators, Internet service providers, IT suppliers and government agencies to develop a cost-effective package of solutions.

Proposals should be submitted by July 5. Click here for more information.
