Labour Department

The Labour Department will stage a job fair at Tuen Mun Town Hall on May 29 and 30 from 11am to 6pm, offering 4,200 jobs from 51 companies.

Firms joining the fair come from retail, catering, property management and security. They have vacancies on offer such as sales, customer service officer, shop assistant, waiter, security guard, technician, shop supervisor, officer and manager.

More than 90% of the jobs offered are full-time jobs and most provide a monthly salary ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. More than 90% of the jobs require Form 5 education or below.

About 25 firms will set up counters each day and conduct on-the-spot recruitment. Job seekers may submit job applications and have opportunity for an interview on the spot. The department will also conduct on-the-spot registration for job seekers.
