Teacher education advisory body named
*

Cheung Pak-hong has been appointed as the Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Teacher Education & Qualifications for two years from June 1.

 

Secretary for Education Michael Suen said Mr Cheung has rich experience in secondary and tertiary sectors. He has served on the Hong Kong Institute of Education's Council and the Examinations & Assessment Authority.

 

Mr Suen thanked outgoing chairman Prof Cheng Kai-ming and four members - Chen Wei-on, Lam Lee Tuen-yee, Prof Lo Mun-ling and Yuen Tin-yau - for their contributions to the committee.
