S6 application results out August 16
*

The Education Bureau says 244 students have applied for the remaining 49 subvented Secondary 6 places through Central Allocation in the S6 Admission Procedure Stage V. Application results will be uploaded here after 6pm on August 16.

School places will be allocated on the basis of the applicants' Certificate of Education Examination results, the choices they have made and the subject requirements of the schools chosen.

Successful applicants should go in person to the school allocated for registration by 3.30pm on August 17, bringing the original and copies of their identity cards and their current year HKCEE result notice.

Students who are still unable to secure an S6 place after the completion of Stage V may be able to get a place at the beginning of the new school year as some successful students may decide not to take up their places. Vacancy information will be available here throughout September. Applications should be made to these schools direct.
