The Education Bureau has invited the University Grants Committee to consider in detail the development blueprint put forward by the Institute of Education and to offer its expert advice. The bureau has an open mind on the proposals in the blueprint.

The committee's advice is most valuable as the institute is one of the those funded by it and the institute's future development is closely related to the overall strategic development of the committee-funded sector.
