Sham Shui Po fair to offer 2,500 jobs
*
Labour Department

The Labour Department will stage a job fair at Dragon Centre in Sham Shui Po on Tuesday, offering more than 2,500 jobs for young job-seekers.

The job fair will be held from 11am to 7pm. Admission is free. Thirty-one companies will set up recruitment booths at the venue for receiving job applications and conducting on-site interviews, covering such positions as clerk, sales, wait staff, customer service assistant and purchasing officer.

Registered social workers will also be available to provide career counselling and consultations.

The Youth Work Experience & Training Scheme and the Youth Pre-employment Training Programme offer a full range of pre-employment and on-the-job training to young people aged 15 to 24 who have not received university education.

Joint application of the two programmes is underway. Interested young people can submit applications at the venue, or download the form here.
