Appointments

Labour Advisory Board members named
*

Twelve people have been appointed Labour Advisory Board members for two years from January.

 

Among them, five members are elected by registered employee unions and five are nominated by major employer associations.

 

Employee representatives include Leung Chau-ting, Ip Wai-ming, Ng Wai-yee, Chung Kwok-sing, and Lee Tak-ming. Employer representatives are Ho Sai-chu, Dr Kim Mak Kin-wah, Paul Yin, Stanley Lau, and Stanley Hui.

 

Meanwhile, Cheng Kai-ming and Cheung Sing-hung have been appointed as the employee member and employer member.

 

Among the 12 members, Ng Wai-yee, Chung Kwok-sing, Lee Tak-ming, Stanley Hui, Cheng Kai-ming and Cheung Sing-hung are newly appointed to the board. The others are incumbent members.

 

Permanent Secretary for Economic Development & Labour Matthew Cheung said he looks forward to working closely with the members in the new term.

 

He also thanked outgoing members Felix Cheung, Poon Siu-ping, Wong Siu-han, Cheung Pak-chi, Anthony Yeung and Clement Chen for their contribution.
