Crowd controls set for show flats

*
Housing Department

The Housing Department has formed contingency measures to handle the large crowds expected to visit Home Ownership Scheme show flats on weekends.

Assistant Director of Housing (Housing Subsidies) Albert Lee said today that the department will post notices at waiting areas and announce the expected waiting time through loudspeakers.

"We advise visitors not to stay too long inside the show flats, to shorten the waiting time," he said.

The flats are at Kingsford Terrace in Wong Tai Sin, Yu Chui Court in Sha Tin and Tin Fu Court in Tin Shui Wai, and will be open from January 2 to 15. So far, Kingsford Terrace has attracted the most visitors. It will have four additional flats available for weekend viewing.
