The Labour Department will stage a job fair at Yuen Long Town Hall from 11am to 6pm on Tuesday, showcasing more than 1,200 vacancies.

Twelve companies, mainly from the catering and the retail sectors, will set up counters offering 1,000 vacancies for on-the-spot recruitment.

Available jobs include manager, shop supervisor, sales, shop assistant, customer service officer, kitchen worker, waiter and cashier.

About 90% of the jobs are full-time, with monthly salaries ranging from $5,000 to $9,000. Most of them require Form 5 education level or below.

Special panels will display more than 200 vacancies in other companies.
