The Education & Manpower Bureau and the Committee on Home-School Co-operation have uploaded the electronic version of the profile of kindergartens for the 2002/03 school year onto their websites. This provides parents with easy access to essential information for making choices of kindergartens.

The bureau and the committee have jointly published the guide since 2000.

To present the content in a more concise and user-friendly way, only information provided by the bureau has been uploaded to the profile this year. A link to the information on kindergartens for the 2001/02 school year has been provided. This reduces the kindergartens' administrative work while enabling parents to access more relevant information.

From August 15, hard copies of the profile of kindergartens will be available for reference at the Regional Education Offices, Maternal & Child Health Centres and Social Welfare Department's Family Service Centres.
