*

The Registration & Electoral Office urges the electors of the Hoi Sham Constituency to vote in the Kowloon City District Council by-election to be held on Sunday.

The polling station is located at Holy Carpenter Primary School at 14 Kwei Chow Street, To Kwa Wan, Kowloon.  It will open from 7.30am to 10.30pm for the 7,008 electors to cast votes.

There are six candidates contesting the poll:

(1) Yum Kwok Tung, Pius, a community organiser

(2) Lam Hoi Sing, Guide, a merchant

(3) Leung Yun Yeung, Stephen, a district officer

(4) Woo Yan Yue (alias: Woo Wai Hing), a merchant

(5) Lam Kin Man, a solicitor; and

(6) Pun Kwok-wah, a manager.

The by-election is being held as a result of the death of sitting member Mak King-lun.

An election hotline, 2891 1001, will be in service throughout the poll to answer voters' questions.

A complaints hotline, 2827 7251, will also be in operation on the polling day to handle complaints about breaches of electoral guidelines.

Vote counting will also take place at the Holy Carpenter Primary School and the public are welcome to watch.
