Tung mourns tragic loss of US space shuttle
*

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa has written to the President of the United States to express his condolences to the families of the astronauts of US space shuttle Columbia.

 

Mr Tung said he was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic loss of the space shuttle.

 

He said the astronauts had risked their lives for the advancement of mankind and their spirit of courage and sacrifice shall be long remembered.
