Secretary for Education Eddie Ng will pay a two-day visit to Zhuhai to call on municipal government officials and visit two tertiary institutions.
Mr Ng and the officials will discuss ways to deepen co-operation in education between Hong Kong and Zhuhai.
United International College - jointly founded by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University - has invited Mr Ng to a dinner to speak on his personal experience and give encouragement to students.
He will also give a lecture on Hong Kong’s education policy, and tour Sun Yat-sen University.
Under Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung will be Acting Secretary in Mr Ng’s absence.
