Police call for calm in Admiralty

November 08, 2014

Police urge protesters on the footbridge connecting Admiralty Centre and the Central Government Offices to remain calm and restrained.

At about 7pm, some protesters gathered and placed mills barriers on the footbridge to try to block access to the Central Government Offices.

Police immediately removed the barriers.

Police condemn such acts which disrupt public order, and urge protesters to express their views in a peaceful and rational manner and not endanger public order.
